Troubleshooting Problems

There may be times when you have questions about using your KODAK camera
or Camera Dock. This chapter can help you find the answers quickly.

Picture Card
Problem
The camera does not
recognize your
Picture Card.
Camera freezes up
when a Picture Card
is inserted or
removed.
Cause
The Picture Card
may not be
CompactFlash
certified.
The Picture Card
may be corrupt.
No Picture Card is
inserted in
camera or Card is
not fully inserted.
Camera detects an
error when the
Picture Card was
inserted or
removed.
Solution
Purchase a certified
CompactFlash Picture Card
(page
4).
Reformat the Picture Card
(page
44).
Caution: Formatting erases all
pictures and videos from the card.
Insert a Picture Card into the card
slot, then push to seat the
connector
