    Motherboard Description SY-K7VLM-B 1-7 MICROPROCESSOR The motherboard supports a single Socket 462 processor. The processor’s VID pins automatically program the voltage regulator on the motherboard to the required processor voltage. In addition, the front side bus speed (100 MHz and 133 MHz) is automatically selected. The motherboard supports all current Socket 462 processor speeds, voltages, and bus frequencies.

The retention set is used to hold the processor attached to the Socket 462 CPU connector on the motherboard.
