Display Settings

In this menu, you can change various settings for the display.
From the Home screen, tap
The following options display:
• Wallpaper: allows you to set the Wallpaper for your Home
screen, Lock screen, or both. For more information, refer to
"Changing the Wallpaper" on page 35.
• LED indicator: lets you turn LED indication on or off for
Charging, Low battery, Notifications and Voice recording.
• Page buddy: lets you select creation of context-related pages on
the home screen for S Pen, Earphones, Docking and Roaming.
Tap Page buddy help for more information. Touch and slide
the Page buddy slider to the right to turn it ON
• Screen mode: Set the screen colour and contrast preset to
Dynamic, Standard (default), Natural or Movie.
• Brightness: configures the LCD Brightness levels. Tap
Automatic brightness to allow the phone to self-adjust or drag
the slider and tap OK.
• Auto-rotate screen: allows automatic switching of the display
orientation when you rotate the phone.

• Screen timeout: adjusts the time delay before the screen
automatically turns off when it is inactive. Selections are: 15
seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10
minutes.
• Smart rotation: disables the auto screen rotation and uses
the front camera to determine the orientation of your face and
rotates the screen accordingly.
• Smart stay: uses the front camera to detect your face and
overrides the screen timeout setting so the screen stays on
when you are looking at it.
• Font style: allows you to set the font style that your phone will
use. You can also tap Get fonts online to choose from a wider
selection.
• Font size: allows you to select the size of font displayed.
• Touch key light duration: Adjust the time delay before the
Touch key light automatically turns off when the keys are inactive.
• Display battery percentage: allows you to see the battery
charge percentage next to the battery charge icon at the top
of the display.
