SNMP Enable
- Check the SNMP Enable box to enable the
camera's SNMP agent.
This agent is used to receive information via the Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP) from a "manager", e.g. an external
SNMP server. In this scenario, the SNMP server tells the camera
that it is still available (heartbeat functionality). For this purpose, the
server sends a heartbeat timeout value ("kick") to the SNMP agent
in the camera.
If a missing heartbeat is detected by the camera, an alarm condition
can be declared. This missing heartbeat is detected by an expired
timeout. To use the heartbeat functionality for declaring an alarm
condition in the camera, the heartbeat missing alarm source has to
be enabled (see

ONVIF Enable
- Check the ONVIF Enable box to enable the
camera for ONVIF support. By default, the ONVIF support is
disabled.
Available Streams via ONVIF
streams. Depending on your camera model, you can have 1, 2 or 3
streams. If you change this value while ONVIF is enabled, the
ONVIF daemon will be restarted. That means that existing
connections are going to be interrupted. If you reduce the number of
streams, the parameters of the streams that are not used anymore
will keep their current values.
All camera models are ONVIF compliant (core specification
version 1.02).
