Your Wind Box DE500/ DC500 is equipped with a 3.5-inch hard disk drive. The
hard disk drive is a storage device with much
higher speed and larger capacity than other
storage devices, such as the floppy disk
drive and optical storage device. Therefore,
it is usually used to install the operating sys-
tem and software applications.
To avoid unexpected data loss in your sys-
tem, please backup your critical files regu-
larly.
Do not turn off the Wind Box DE500/ DC500
when the hard disk In-use LED is on.
Do not remove or install the hard disk drive when the Wind Box DE500/ DC500 is
turned on. The replacement of hard disk drive should be done by an authorized
retailer or service representative.
