    Notes: High-quality TFT displays with especially bright background lighting are installed in notebooks from Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH. For technical reasons, TFT monitors are manufactured for a specific resolution. An optimal, clear picture can only be ensured in the resolution intended for the particular TFT monitor. A monitor resolution which differs from the specification can result in an unclear picture.

With the appropriate software you can use your SmartCard as an alternative to password protection, but also as a digital signature, for encrypting your e-mails or for home banking.
