WHAT IT MEANS
GREEN light above Nest Protect is working.
the Nest logo. The green light means
AC power is connected.
You turn off the room Nest Protect has tested
lights for the night, its sensors and batteries
and the GREEN light to confirm they are
pulses once. working correctly.
WHITE light. Pathlight lights your way at
night as you pass under it.
YELLOW or You've hushed an alert.
RED pulses. Nest Protect will now keep
quiet, unless smoke or
carbon monoxide reaches
dangerous levels.
YELLOW pulses. Low battery.
YELLOW pulses. Nest Protect batteries
have been depleted.
It will chirp.
Nest Protect has tested
its sensors and there is
a problem. It will chirp.
Nest Protect has expired
and reached its end of life.
WHAT TO DO
Sleep well.
Make sure you're safe and
have put out the source of
smoke or carbon monoxide.
Change the batteries
of Nest Protect soon.
Change the batteries
of Nest Protect now.
Clean with compressed
air. If the problem
persists, replace it.
Replace Nest Protect.
