Prodys’ V3 protocol is aimed to make the streaming over Internet easy for the user. More specific, the V3 offer a NAT traversal capacity. This means that the caller end of a new IP communication does not require asking for router or firewall adaptation before streaming.

  • Page 71 A decisive factor in real time audio streaming is the ‘jitter’, or delay variation. To deal with the jitter in the connection, Prodys IP Family codec provides a tool which allows the user to modify the size of the reception buffer, and so, to compensate the jitter.
