Before
you attach
water
supply
hoses,
run o lrnle water
from the
faucets
This gets rid of any
poflicles
that might
clog
the hoses
Use the new hoses and washers that
came with Your WhIrlpool washer.
Now place
a flat washer
Into each
end
of the Inlet hoses
(Check
to make
sure
washers
ore firmly seated
I" couplings
)
Attach
hoses to faucets
Tighten
couplings
by hand,
then make
a fInal
two-thrrds
turn with the pliers
Inlets ore plastic, so
do not strip them

couplings

(2 on each

of the washer
console
Gently
push rn and
down
until
all tabs
lock in place

faucets

check
for leaks

couplrngs
if necessary

sure your washer
IS level
Take a
carpenter's
level and
place
It on top of
the washer,
and
check
it
frrst side to
side, then front to back
If It IS not level, screw
the front legs of the
washer
up or down
to adlust
Tilt the washer
forward
to raise the back
legs off the floor about
an Inch
Gently
let It bock
down
This lets the back
legs
self-adjust
Make
frnal check
wrth the
level
Then trghten
nuts on front legs up
agolnst
washer
base
using the wrench
If nuts are not tight agalnsf the washer
base, the washer may vibrate

to see If you have
removed
the
shIppIng
strap from the washer
[see step

away
from Its location.
