    - diese Betriebsanleitung genau beachten. 1. EINFÜHRUNG Wir freuen uns, daß Sie sich für einen OMNITRONIC CDP-744 entschieden haben. Wenn Sie nachfolgende Hinweise beachten, sind wir sicher, daß Sie lange Zeit Freude an Ihrem Kauf haben werden. Nehmen Sie den OMNITRONIC CDP-744 aus der Verpackung.

    Das Gerät darf nicht in Betrieb genommen werden, nachdem es von einem kalten in einen warmen Raum gebracht wurde. Das dabei entstehende Kondenswasser kann unter Umständen Ihr Gerät zerstören. Lassen Sie das Gerät solange uneingeschaltet, bis es Zimmertemperatur erreicht hat! Stellen Sie keine Flüssigkeitsbehälter, die leicht umfallen können, auf dem Gerät oder in dessen Nähe ab.

    4. NETZANSCHLUSS 5. AUDIO OUT-BUCHSEN An diese Buchsen wird das Musiksignal in analoger Form ausgegeben. Zum Anschluß an Ihr Mischpult. 6.     Abspielgeschwindigkeit temporär verändern: Wenn Sie den Joystick nach rechts ziehen, erhöhen Sie die Abspielgeschwindigkeit temporär um +4 %. Wenn Sie den Joystick nach links ziehen, verringern Sie die Abspielgeschwindigkeit temporär um -4 %. Schleifenwiedergabe programmieren: Speicherung des Loop In-Punktes Der Loop In-Punkt kann im Wiedergabe- oder im Pausemodus gespeichert werden. Wählen Sie den Loop In-Punkt mit dem Jograd (Pausemodus) oder direkt während der Wiedergabe aus (Loop In-LED leuchtet).

    Sie können den CD-Player mit vier Schrauben M6 im Rack befestigen. Die Frontplatte allein reicht jedoch nicht aus, um den CD-Player sicher zu befestigen. Es muß eine gleichmäßige Befestigung durch Boden- und Seitenschienen gewährleistet sein. ACHTUNG: Achten Sie darauf, daß der CD-Player ausgeschaltet ist (Netzschalter ist in ungedrückter Position) bevor Sie ihn ans Netz anschließen, da sonst Ihre Lautsprecher beschädigt werden könnten.

    6.4 Play/Pause Im Pausemodus steht die Zeitanzeige im Display und die OUT/EXIT und LOOP IN-LEDs blinken. Die Wiedergabe des ersten Titels kann durch Drücken der Play/Pause-Taste gestartet werden. Im Play-Modus läuft die Zeitanzeige im Display. Wollen Sie die Wiedergabe unterbrechen, drücken Sie Play/Pause-Taste, und der Lesekopf bleibt an der entsprechenden Position stehen.

    6.8 Cueing Funktion Auto-Cue: Der Player springt nach dem Einschalten oder nach Betätigen der Skip-Tasten automatisch an die Stelle, an der die Musik einsetzt. Diese Funktion ermöglicht Ihnen, die Übergänge zwischen zwei Titeln zu minimieren. Speicherung des Cue-Punktes: Möglichkeit 1: Der Player befindet sich im Wiedergabemodus.

    Wenn bei Ihrem Gerät Probleme auftreten, lesen Sie bitte nachfolgende Übersicht. Die Veränderung der Abspielgeschwindigkeit (Pitch) ändert die FM-Frequenzen. Sollte auf dem Display öfter "ERR" erscheinen, sollten die Frequenzen neu eingestellt werden. Ist das Gerät korrekt angeschlossen? 2.     Keep away from heaters and other heating sources! If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.

    6. REMOTE CONTROL Connect the controller via these plugs. 4.3 Controller In order to design this user manual as structured as possible, only one side of the controller is described. Frontpanel: 1. SECTION UNIT 1 The left part of the controller is designed for controlling the left CD-player (1). 2.
  • Page 22 8. CUE-BUTTON Pause-mode: In the pause-mode, you can cue by pressing and holding the Cue-button. As soon as you let the Cue-button loose, the player returns to the track-start. Playback-mode: If you press the Cue-button during playback, the player returns to the position where the playback started and goes into Pause-mode.

    A sequence can be memorized after you memorized the Loop In-point. Please select the end-point (Loop Out-point) with the Jog-dial (Pause-mode) or directly during playback (OUT/EXIT-LED illuminated). By pushing the joystick upwards, you can memorize the current position (OUT/EXIT-LED flashes). The memorized sequence is repeated (OUT/EXIT-LED flashes) until you push the joystick upwards once more.

    6. OPERATION 6.1 Setup Switch the CD-player on via the Power-switch. When the device is on and the tray has no disc, "NO DISC" appears on the display. 6.2 CD-tray Press Open/Close-button in order to open the disc tray. The CD-tray opens and the display shows "OPEN". Insert your CD in the CD-tray.

    Keyboard: Press the left or the right DISC-button (green LED shines) in order to select the desired track by the keyboard. By pressing the respective number, you can call up the track-number directly. 6.6 Synchronisation of the playback-speed You can synchronise the CD-player and another signal-source while cueing with the headphones via the mixer.

    Memorizing the Loop Out-point The Loop Out-point can be memorized in the Pause-mode and in the Playback-mode, respectively. A sequence can be memorized after you memorized the Loop In-point. Please select the end-point (Loop Out-point) with the Jog-dial (Pause-mode) or directly during playback (OUT/EXIT-LED illuminated). By pushing the joystick upwards, you can memorize the current position (OUT/EXIT-LED flashes).

    5. INSTALLATION Installez le lecteur CD sur une surface plane ou dans votre rack. Assurez-vous que l'angle d'inclinaison n'excéde pas 15°, parce que le CD n'est pas lit correctement autrefois. TECLA CUE Modo de pausa: En el modo de pausa puede escuchar pulsando y manteniendo pulsada la tecla Cue. Hasta libere la tecla Cue el CD-player vuelve al comienzo de la canción.

    Programar el funcion Loop: Memorizar el punto Loop In El punto Loop In puede ser memorizado en el modo de pausa o en el modo de lectura. Selecciona el punto Loop In con la rueda Jog (modo de pausa) o directadament durante la lectura (el LED LOOP IN brilla constantemente).

    Conecte el CD-player con el cable cinch a su mezclador mediante los casquillos de salida de Audio. Asegúrese de que la ocupación derecha/izquierda (color de la clavija rojo/blanco) es la misma en ambos aparatos. Conecte su CD-player a la red. Enchufe el aparato.
