Inserting the storage medium

Caution!
If the memory card is inserted into the card slot the
wrong way round, the card will not be recognised. The
card itself or the data it contains may be damaged as a
result.
Push the card into the SD/MMC slot (18) with the
label facing upwards all the way until it clicks into
place audibly.
Set the FUNCTION switch (20) to USB/CARD; the
unit switches on.
Keep pressing the USB/CARD button (6) to select
USB or SD/MMC mode (only in STOP
The MP3/WMA files are scanned and the total
number of tracks appears in the display (29).
Before starting to use the medium, wait until all of its
content has been read to ensure that all of the
necessary information has been read. If a storage
medium is not inserted or cannot be read, the NO
CARD indicator appears in the display (29).
The playback of the first track starts automatically.
Stop playback: Press the STOP

Removing the storage medium
Remove the card by pressing it inwards until it audibly

The SD/MMC slot has priority over the USB port in the event
that both are occupied. Switching between the USB port and
the CARD slot is possible in Stop mode only.
If an SD/MMC card is inserted during USB playback, the USB
playback stops and the first track of the SD/MMC card is
played back.
