    INSTALLING BATTERIES The bike radio uses four C batteries for power. We recommend alkaline batteries, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-551. Turn the mounting bracket's knob counterclockwise to loosen it and remove the bracket. Press down and slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrows and lift off the cover.
  • Page 3 AM/FM Bike Radio (120-0453) Operation Faxback Doc. # 3675 MOUNTING THE BIKE RADIO Choose a mounting location on the bike's handlebar where the radio does not interfere with the bike's operation and the reflector is easily visible. Use a Philips screwdriver to loosen the mounting bracket's screws and remove the lower portions of the brackets.
  • Page 4 Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. Modifying or tampering with the bike radio's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate its warranty. If your bike radio is not performing as it should, take it to your local Radio Shack store for assistance.
