    CPD-E530 POWER MANAGEMENT The power saving mode complies with the VESA Display Power Management Signaling standard. Each state of power management shall be activated by the host computer terminating the appropriate sync signals. Blanking the video must precede termination of the sync signals. The elapsed time counter shall also be controlled by the host computer.

    If the ! (power) indicator is still flashing, there is a potential monitor failure. Count the number of seconds between orange flashes of the ! (power) indicator and inform your authorized Sony dealer of the monitor’s condition. Be sure to note the model name and serial number of your monitor.

    Preset and user modes Precautions When the monitor receives an input signal, it automatically matches the signal to one of the factory preset modes stored in the monitor’s memory to provide a high quality picture (see “Preset mode timing table” on page i) .
