Buttons

There are 3 buttons located on the side of the tablet, which allow you to turn
the tablet on/off and adjust the volume level. There is also a reset button on
the rear of the MID.
To use, gently press the desired button. You will feel a soft click.
Switch on/off the device
Power button
• L ong press to turn on (3 seconds).
• W hen in power-on state, press to turn the screen on or off.
• W hen in power-on state, long press (3 seconds) to display the Power Off
menu.
Switch on
• W hile in the power-off state, long press the power button for 3 seconds and
the device will start up.
Switch off
• P ress the power button for 3 seconds. You will see an options list.
• C hoose to switch off the device.
Turn on/off the screen
The screen will automatically turn off when in idle time
• A fter a period of inactivity the screen will automatically turn off to save
battery power. This can be set using the 'Sleep' setting from the Display
menu in the device settings menu.
• I f after a long time in sleep state the screen does not turn on, press the reset
button and the MID will turn off then re-start again.
Turn on the screen
If the screen is off, press the power button to turn it back on.
