Contact your Toshiba dealer immediately. CAUTION • Exposure of unit to water or other moisture before installation may result in an electrical short. Do not store in a wet basement or expose to rain or water.

(Approx. 1.6 times.) Therefore securely tighten the flare pipes which connect the outdoor unit and the indoor unit with the specified tightening torque using a torque wrench. If any flare pipe is incorrectly connected, it may cause not only a gas leakage but also trouble in the refrigeration cycle.

Grounding is necessary not only to safeguard against the possibility of receiving an electric shock but also to absorb both the static, which is generated by high frequencies and held in the surface of the outdoor unit, and noise since the air conditioner incorporates a frequency conversion device (called an inverter) in the outdoor unit. -
