my model is dated Nov 9 2003 - I have multiple smoke detectors on every floor (3) including this one located in the basement along with two carbon monoxide detectors. Yet this just started going off slowly but then went full scale when nothing else in the house was going off. Is it the age (I know its old) but didn't expect it to go full scale alarm. I replaced the battery and it continued. Is it at end of life?
