Dell 1707FPc 2. LCD Monitor Description The LCD monitor will contain a main board, power board, key board, and USB board which house the flat panel control logic, brightness control logic and DDC. The power board will provide AC to DC Inverter voltage to drive the backlight of panel and the main board chips each voltage.
Dell 1707FPc 3. Operation instructions 3.1 General Instructions Press the power button to turn the monitor on or off. The other control buttons are located at front panel of the monitor. By changing these settings, the picture can be adjusted to your personal preferences.

Use the Input Select button to select between two different video signals that may be connected to your monitor. NOTE: The floating 'Dell Self-test Feature Check' dialog appears on a black background If the monitor cannot sense a video signal. Dell 1707FPc 3.3 Adjusting the Picture NOTE: If you change the settings and then either proceed to another menu, or exit the OSD menu, the monitor automatically saves those changes. The changes are also saved if you change the settings and then wait for the OSD menu to disappear.

Dell 1707FPc NOTE: The floating Dell Self-test Feature Check dialog appears on-screen if the monitor cannot sense a video signal. Occasionally, no warning message appears, but the screen is blank. This could also indicate that the monitor is not synchronizing with the computer.
