Maintenance schedule

The following is a list of the maintenance which should be conducted on the machine. For those points not described in this manual,
visit an authorised service workshop.

Maintenance

Cleaning
Check the engine's oil level
Check the engine's cooling air intake
Check the fuel pump air filter
Check the steering wires
Check the battery
Check the safety system
Check nuts and screws
Check for fuel and oil leakage.
Clean around the silencer
Clean the prefilter in the air filter

Change the engine oil
Check the cutting deck
Check the air pressure in the tyres, 60 kPa/8.5 PSI.
Lubricate the belt adjuster
Lubricate joints and shafts
Adjust the brake
Check the V-belts
Check the cooling fins on the hydrostatic transmission
Checking the transmission oil level
Checking and adjusting the choke wire
Tighten the nuts and screws
Checking and adjusting of throttle wire
Clean the cooling fins on the engine and hydrostatic transmission

Replace the air filter's prefilter and paper filter
Replace the fuel filter.
Replace the spark plug.
Check the engine valve clearance
Check the need to change the oil
system
Change the oil filter
Clean the combustion chamber
Decarburization and valve grinding
Check the fuel hose. Replace if necessary .

If the machine is used daily it should be lubricated twice a week.

First change after 8 hours. When operating with a heavy load or at high ambient temperatures, replace every 50 hours.

every 200 hours.
Replace the paper filter annually or every 200 hours.

WARNING! No service procedures must be conducted on the engine or cutting unit unless:

The engine is switched off.
The parking brake is applied.
The ignition key is removed.
The cutting unit is disengaged.
The ignition cables are removed from the plugs.
WARNING! When the machine is in operation the hoses are under high pressure. Do not try to connect or
!
disconnect the hoses when the hydraulic system is operational. This can result in serious personal injuries.
