TP (Traffic Program) serch :
Automatically tunes to a station broadcasting traffic information.
Pre-paration
Perform

RDS stations
automatically
in
the preset
memory
(Auto
Memory)".
This step can be omitted
if you have already
executed
the Auto
Memory
procedure.

• The TP Search function
cannot
be used if alt of the 40 preset
stations
have been
stored
using
the
procedure
in "Storing
radio
stations
manually
in preset
memory".
Be sure
to use
the Auto
Memory
function

Se/ect the "Tuner" icon from the fixed segments.
Perform operation in the "Tuner" menu screen.
O Set the receiving
band
to "FM".
The band is alternated
every
time
"Band"
is selected.

the "RDS"
icon to open the "RDS"
menu
screen.

Perform operation in the "RDS" menu screen.
O Select
the
"TP Search"
icon.
• During
TP search,
the corresponding
indicator
on the main
u_it
blinks
• If TP Search is not required,
perform
the Auto
Memory
operat
on
again,
TP (Traffic Program) Indication
When
the "TP"
indication
is lit, this indicates
that this station
or
e station
in the same network
is transmitting
traffic
information.
When"TP"
is displayed
for the station
presently
being
received,
the traffic
information
of this station
can be heard.
To cancel TP Search
I
Select
the "TP Search*'
icon during
TP search.
