EXCALIBUR SUPERIOR SOFT-TEC™ NO SALT WATER SOFTENER INSTALLATION MANUAL In your home when you replace at traditional salt based Water Softener or if you never had a Water Softener in your home, when the Soft-tec™ No Salt Water Softener is installed, you may notice the water is becoming harder in the beginning as the piping scale begins dissolving and the water hardness is a consequence of the descaling. - Page 3 system and appliances.
