Problem
Communicating No dial tone heard
The machine does not receive
automatically.
Cannot send or receive.
Operation Operation rejected
Symptom
• Check the telephone line connection.
• Check the telephone line.
• Check the telephone line connection.
• Check the receive mode settings.
• If the Function Parameter "13 Auto Print JRNL"
(Fax/Email Settings > Fax Parameters) is set to
"Valid", and the machine is printing the received
document(s) from memory, which also happens
to be the 200th transaction, the machine will not
answer automatically until the Transaction
Journal completes printing.
An error code appears on the display. See the
error code table and identify the problem.
Turn OFF the machine momentarily, and then turn
it ON again.
