Consult the Chevrolet Owner's Manual for jacking in-
structions and information on tire changing. Supplement
with the following:
To Change A Front Tire:
1. Move the vehicle to a level, firm surface.
2. Remove spare tire, jack, and jacking tools and equip-
ment from the storage area. Carefully read all instruc-
tions, including those in the Chevrolet Owner's Manual.
3. Make sure that all passengers and pets have exited
the vehicle.
4. To provide clearance for the jack, carefully drive the
flat tire up on the utility block.
5. Place the transmission selector in "P", set the park-
ing brake, and turn off the engine.
6. Block both the front and back of the wheel in the
opposite corner from the wheel to be changed, as
shown in the illustration.

7. Adjust screw extension to an overall jack height of 10".
Slide extended jack into position under the front con-
trol arm (see illustration).
8. Begin jacking until the jack engages the control arm
surface, but do not lift the tire off the utility block.
9. Loosen the wheel nuts one complete turn. Do not
remove.
10. Raise the vehicle until the flat tire clears the utility block.
WARNING: DO NOT PUT ANY PORTION OF YOUR
BODY UNDER THE MOTOR HOME AFTER
REMOVING THE WHEEL NUTS OR WHEEL.
11. Remove and replace tire and wheel assembly as
specified in the chassis owner's manual. Remove utility
block prior to installing spare wheel.
12. Completely lower and remove the jack. Remove blocks
and other tools.
13. Replace wheel cover, if necessary. Note: Check the
tightness of the wheel nuts often until you get to a
tire service center. Have the wheel nut torque and air
pressure checked by professional tire service personnel.
