Adjusting conditions
1. Connect the DC voltmeter to
pin 38 of SC3403.
1. Go to the adjustment mode.
1. Receive a B/W channel.
2. Go to the adjustment mode.
3. Select the "COM BIAS" with
[MENU] key.
1. Go to the adjustment mode and
check the following settings.
» PRE SCALE FM/AM-M
» PRE SCALE SCART
» TV GEQ BAND 1
» TV GEQ BAND 2
» TV GEQ BAND 3
» TV GEQ BAND 4
» TV GEQ BAND 5
» EXT GEQ BAND 1
» EXT GEQ BAND 2
» EXT GEQ BAND 3
» EXT GEQ BAND 4
» EXT GEQ BAND 5
» VSYNC DELAY

Adjusting method
1. Adjust the "B+ Adj" value to
5.0 ±0.02V with R3760.
1. Select "MODEL" with [MENU] key
and adjust to "B2U" with [VOL+] or
[VOL-] key.
* The color of "MODEL" must be yellow.
2. Select "INCH SIZE" and adjust to
"15" with [VOL+] or [VOL-] key.
* The color of "INCH SIZE" must be
yellow.
1. Adjust "COM BIAS" to the darkest
screen with [VOL+] and [VOL-] key.
* The color of "COM BIAS" must be
yellow.
1. See if all the settings are as
specified. If not, select an item in

question with [VOL+] or [VOL-] key
and adjust the setting as shown at
15
left.
* An item selected will be highlighted
