Security Codes

An Optional Services landline Center Access Code is required for you to use this device.
The 4-digit Center Access Code you received when you signed up is needed for
subscribing to Internet fee-based information.
• D o not forget Center Access Code. If you forget this code, contact us for recovery.
For details, contact Customer Service ( ☞ P.117).
• D o not reveal Center Access Code. SoftBank Mobile Corp. is not liable for misuse or
damages.

USIM PIN

PIN is a code for USIM Card. 9999 by default; enable USIM Card lock to restrict device
use.
Changing USIM PIN (locking USIM Card)
You can set up the device so that it cannot be used when the power is turned on
without entering a PIN (locking the USIM Card).

On the Applications list, Tap Settings

General → Security → Set up SIM card lock

Lock SIM card → Enter current PIN → OK
The USIM Card lock is now enabled and you can change PIN.

Change SIM PIN → Enter current PIN → OK → Enter new PIN → OK → Reenter new
PIN → OK
• I f PIN is entered incorrectly three times, PIN is locked and use of the device is
restricted.
• T o release PIN lock, contact Customer Service ( ☞ P.117) to find out Personal
Unblocking Key (PUK).
• I f PUK is entered incorrectly 10 times, the USIM Card is locked and this device
can no longer be used. In this case, a USIM Card must be reissued (for a fee)
by a SoftBank Shop.
