Notifications window

Notification Indicators appear on the Status bar at the top of the screen to report new
messages, calendar events, device status, and more. Drag down from the Status bar
to open the Notifications window. Scroll the list to see additional alerts. To close the
Notifications window, Drag the bar up.
From the Notifications window, you can view your device's current settings or change
them. You can select from more features by Dragging the settings icon to the left.
• W i-Fi: Activate or deactivate the Wi-Fi feature.
• L ocation: Activate or deactivate the GPS feature.
• S ound/Vibrate/Mute: Activate or deactivate silent mode. You can vibrate or mute
your device in silent mode.
• S creen rotation: Allow or prevent the interface from rotating when you rotate the
device.
• B luetooth: Activate or deactivate the Bluetooth feature.
• M obile data: Activate or deactivate the data connection.
• M ulti window: Set the device to use Multi Window.
• S creen Mirroring: Activate or deactivate the screen mirroring feature.
• S ync: Activate or deactivate auto-syncing of applications.
• S mart stay: Activate or deactivate the smart stay feature.
• P ower saving: Activate or deactivate power-saving mode.
• B locking mode: Activate or deactivate blocking mode. In blocking mode, the
device will block notifications. To select which notifications will be blocked, Tap
Settings → Device → Blocking mode.
• A irplane mode: Activate or deactivate flight mode.
To arrange the options on the Notifications window, open the Notifications window,
Tap →
, Touch & Hold the Set quick setting buttons item on the Notifications
window, and then Drag the item to another location.
