    2.2 Connections Note : Once your equipment is connected, follow this procedure to select the input signal: Press the SOURCE button to select the desired input. Before connecting any peripheral to the TV unplug the power cables.

    2.3 Remote Control Power Service Turn the television On or Off. Access the current channel service Note: The TV is never completely list. This also shows the services turned off unless the power cable from which the user can choose has been unplugged).

    2.4 Instructions for Use 2.4.1 Using Menu Press the MENU button for the main menu. Use the navigation ring to select a menu item and enter the submenu. Press the central button for OK and to enable or disable the function.
  • Page 9 Main Menu This is the TV main menu. It allows the user to choose from the options: Channels, Picture, Sound, Parental, Settings and Media. Note: If the user attempts to access the Media menu using a non-USB source, the user will be informed that this is not possible with the current source input.
  • Page 10 Sound Mode: Developed for different types of sound mode. Select Standard, Voice, Music, Movie, Theatre and Personal mode. It is only possible to make adjustments in Personal mode. 1. Balance: Balance adjustment is from -50 ~50. 2. Bass: Can only be adjusted in Personal mode. Bass adjustment is from 0 ~100.
  • Page 11 Channel Block Modes 1. Always: block the selected the channel until the user unblocks it again. 2. Never: Unblock the selected channel. The block icon will be removed from the channel number. Parental This allows parent to restrict access to TV program by recommended age. For instance: if 12 years old is selected, only programs allowed for this age will be accessible, all other will be blocked.
  • Page 12 Setting Menu The Setting menu in TV mode includes the options: General, Channels, Sound, Display and PC. 1. Adjust Date and Time: Select this option to update date and time. 2. Change Password: Allows the password to be changed. The factory default password is (0000), to change this it is necessary to enter the password using the remote control and then enter a new 4 digit password.
  • Page 13 1. SRS/TRU Surround: Allows the user to activate/deactivate this sound system. The default option is on. 2. CC On Mute: Allows the choice for Closed Caption mode to be automatically displayed whenever the TV is on mute. The default option is on. 3.
  • Page 14 Digital Signal Meter Indicates signal intensity and quality of the selected channel. This menu does not have automatic off. This option is available only for digital channels. Allow some configuration when PC input is selected. The options are: Auto Adjustment, H-Position, and V-Position. This option is available only in PC mode.

    Strip The Strip contains important information on displayed digital channels. In the strip you will find the channel name and number, closed caption, current date/time, program name, duration, beginning/end, age rating, services and subtitle and audio. For analog channels, the strip shows only date/time, channel number, subtitle and audio. The strip is displayed for a few seconds every time a cable or outside channel is selected, or if the user presses the display key.
  • Page 16 Zoom Mode for 16:9 Screens For this mode, the image is usually in wide format on 4:3 screen with empty top and bottom bars. For 4:3 content signal that contains 16:9 images, the internal bars will appear as part of the picture. The Zoom mode will expand the image evenly in both directions to fill up the entire screen.
