4.1.2 PPP over Ethernet (Dynamic IP Address ADSL)
(1) Complete the following settings:(The example shown is for PPPoE
User)
(2) Please click "PPPoE User" button, and the following picture will
appear.
(3) Please confirm in the "Type : PPPoE ADSL".
(4) Please enter the PPPoE "user name" and "password" assigned by your
Service Provider.
(5) The Service Name is normally optional, but may be required by some
service providers.
(6) Enable the "Service On Demand" option to automatically re-establish
the connection as soon as you attempt to access the Internet again.
(7) Enter a Idle Time (in second) to define a maximum period of time for
which the Internet connection is maintained during inactivity. If the
connection is inactive for longer than the Idle Time, it will be dropped.
(8) If ISP give you a fixed IP address. You can enable "IP Addre s s
Negotiation" and key in "Fixed IP Address".
(9) Click Apply in the left-hand column.
