You should always test for compatibility with proprietary system telephones
behind a branch exchange (UKo interface), since some manufacturers'
occupied frequencies extend beyond those filtered along Annex B, and can
cause malfunctions in the branch exchange. In this case, it is better to use
an available wire pair (cf. Section 4.2).
