Note: T ocheck where threaded p ortion enters tank,insert
cotton swab between j acket o pening a ndfitting.Ifcotton is
wet,follow "Draining" i nstructions in the "Service and
Maintenance'section and then remove fitting. Put pipe dope
or teflon tape on the threads and replace. Then follow "Filling
the Water Heater" instructions in the "Installation
Instructions" section.
