Setting the distance to the listening position
In a home entertainment system, the surround loudspeakers are usually posi-
tioned closer to the viewer than the front loudspeakers. The sound is therefore
electronically delayed by fractions of a second. This compensates for the time it
takes the sound to travel.
You should therefore measure the distances from the central speaker and the
surround speakers to the listener's central position and enter them in the relevant
menu. Enter the travel time of the sound in milliseconds (MS) (1 m corresponds
to 3 MS). »OFF« is the default value.
1
Select »SPEAKER SETUP« with » « or » « and confirm with
»DEMO/OK«.

DELAY«.

Testing the volume level of the individual channels

level. »OFF« is the default value.
