3. Charging
○ When the battery is inserted into the battery charger, charging will commence and the
pilotlamp will light in red. (See Table 2)
NOTE: If the pilot lamp does not light or blink in red, pull out the plug from the receptacle and
check if the battery is properly mounted.
○ When the battery is fully charged, the pilot lamp will blink in red slowly. (At 1-secondintervals)

○ Regarding the temperature of the rechargeable battery.
The temperatures for rechargeable batteries are as shown in the Table 3, and batteries that
have become hot should be cooled for a while before being recharged.
