Operating the wheelchair Menu: When you want to use the joystick for all the other functions in addition to driving, you can change from driving mode to a choice of the other functions by pressing the menu button. Each time you press the menu button, the control box will change from driving mode to a mode where you can choose the other functions.
Operating the wheelchair Stop: Stop: Pressing the stop button will switch off the wheelchair and activate the automatic parking brake. The stop button also functions as an emergency stop. Remember to switch off the wheelchair if it will be parked for any length of time without the batteries being charged as if the batteries are allowed to run down completely, they may be damaged.
Operating the wheelchair Charging the batteries: Charging the batteries: Battery voltage is shown on the left side of the display when the wheelchair is in driving mode. It is shown as a column made up of small blocks. When battery voltage falls to the first block, the word CHARGING will blink and the batteries made up of small blocks.

The display will show only the electrically operated components that your wheelchair is equipped with, and no others.
Operating the wheelchair The seat tilt facility is equipped with an automatic zero degree sensor. This means that the seat will stop tilting each time it reaches zero degrees (horizontal). In order to continue tilting, the joystick must be briefly returned to neutral position (vertical).

The belts installed on the wheelchair must not be used as seat belts when driving. Always use the seat belts in the car. This rule also applies to the use of ROLTEC’s systems for securing the wheelchair in a car.
The approval document can be ordered from the factory or be downloaded from our website: http://www.roltec.dk/download.htm. The wheelchair can be supplied with an air transport kit, which is a system that makes it possible to cut out the batteries mechanically.

The following mechanical components can be set to suit the user: Seat: The seat can be moved backwards and forwards on the seat frame. Back rest: The back rest can be moved backwards and forwards in relation to the seat, and its angle can be adjusted.

SETTINGS Pressing the menu button allows you to change from driving mode to a choice of other functions. Find menu item SETTINGS by browsing to the left or right with the joystick and then pushing the joystick forwards once.
Settings 2. Clock The clock is shown on the driving display. You can choose between analog (a clock face) or digital (with figures). The digital display can be programmed as a 12 or 24 hour clock. The time can be adjusted so that it is correct. Digital clock setting - 12 or 24 hour clock: Find the display SETTINGS and move the joystick forwards once and to the right once.
Settings 3. Horn: The built-in loudspeakers in the control box also act as a horn when you press the horn button at the top right-hand side of the control box. The volume can be regulated from no volume to maximum volume. Setting the volume: Find the display SETTINGS and move the joystick forwards once and to the right twice to HORN VOLUME.
Settings 5. Choice of colours: It is possible to choose the colour of each button on the control box. The colours you can choose between are turquoi- se, violet, yellow, white, off (no light), blue, green, and red. Maintenance Now remove the mechanical brake release handle by turning it anti- clockwise. Figur D Then bend the cover over the restraining eyes on both sides, one side at a time. It is important to do this as shown in figure E as the cover might otherwise break.

Maintenance Remove the plug for the lights that is connected to the electronics system (see figure F). The cover can now be removed backwards over the rear restraining eyes. Figur F Reverse the procedure to replace the cover. When the cover has been replaced, it is important that somebody holds up the seat frame when the lifting stop bolt is removed as the seat will otherwise fall into bottom position.
Maintenance We recommend sending ROLTEC VISION plus for service once a year to an authorised ROLTEC distributor in the country where it was bought. There is a list of distributors on page 40. If technical problems arise and the user’s instructions do not contain a solution to them, please contact your distributor.

Maintenance Front-wheel drive ROLTEC electric wheelchairs are equipped as standard with anti-tip wheels. Anti-tip wheels Anti-tip wheels: The rear-wheel drive models can be supplied with anti-tip wheels as extra accessories. The wheels provide security against tipping and are installed above the big driving wheels on the wheelchair.
Maintenance Fuses: The main 150 Ampere fuse is located on the top of the batteries beneath the wheelchair cover. The main fuse will melt if the battery cables are short-circuited. Forvards To change a fuse, first press the stop button twice.

ROLTEC VISION plus is constructed in modules and can therefore be adapted to the individual user. All the electronic functions on the wheelchair can be operated with the help of the five buttons on the control box and the joystick.
