① Camera UTP Cables

Camera UTP Cables: Input camera image and output power
① DVR Ports: DVR output ports for 8 video signals
② RS-485: RS-485 data connection terminal
③ ON/OFF SW: AC 100~240V voltage inlet and power on/off switch
※ For safe power supply, this product automatically recognizes only Samsung Techwin's UTP cameras and the SUT-80.
※ Connecting this device to products other than Samsung Techwin UTP cameras or the SUT-80 may cause
system recognition errors and transfer DC 48V, causing product breakage.
※ Compatible Devices for Power Supply
Cameras: SHC-735AU, SID-53AU, SDC-425U, SID-460U, SID-47U
UTP Device: SUT-80
Caution
● This product cannot supply power to UTP cameras or devices other than Samsung Techwin UTP
cameras or the SUT-80.

2. Installing SUJ-800 and Connecting UTP Cable

2-1. Camera UTP Cables
① Connect an RJ-45 connector to a camera UTP cable.
● Connect an RJ-45 connector to a camera UTP cable.

② Connect the RJ-45 connector to a SUJ-800 port from CH1 to CH8.
③ Connect a RS-485 data line according to the signals: positive and negative.
2-2. DVR UTP Cables

① Connect a RJ-45 Plug to a DVR UTP cable.
② Connect a RJ-45 connector to a DVR connector on the SUJ-800.
③ Connect the AC power plug to the AC input terminal on the SUJ-800.
④ Double check the connection, and then turn on the power switch on the back side. If the
corresponding LED light changes from red to green, the camera is successfully connected
and powered.
※ In case the LED light does not change from red to green:
· A UTP camera or the SUT-80 is not connected properly.
· The UTP cable is disconnected or shorted.
⑤ At the DVR end, check the video signaling status.
※ For wiring an RJ-45 connector for video input and output, please refer to Page 7.
