Safety and Notice The EX-G048D 1x3 DVI Splitter with 1-port over CAT5 has been tested for conformance to safety regulations and requirements, and has been certified for international use. However, like all electronic equipments, EX-G048D should be used with care. Please read and follow the safety instructions to protect yourself from possible injury and to minimize the risk of damage to the unit.
  • Page 3 ACE PLUS CORP. Introduction The EX-G048D receives and reconstructs (equalizing & re-clocking) a DVI signal and distributes it to two identical DVI outputs and one RJ45 output. With the DVI over CAT5e Mini-Extender (EX-G026A), the third output can carry DVI signal through CAT5e cable over 30m / 100ft at 1024x768.

    Rotary switch- Assign an ID (0-7) for the device while cascading. For example, you can set rotary switch at 1 for the first EX-G048D and 2 for the second EX-G048D. Please ignore the rotary switch when only single EX-G048D exists.

    LED lights. The green LED will turn off after the reading process is completed. Warning!! Don’t plug in DVI source while the EX-G048D is writing default EDID or recording EDID from displays. This will cause damage to the EDID in the flash memory.

    Unless you would like to use the default universal EDID, please set DIP switch 2 at off position, which allows the EX-G048D to read the first monitor’s EDID. 1. Connect a monitor, a projector or other displays with DVI inputs by a male-to-male DVI cable to EX-G048D DVI-OUT 1.
