    WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE Das Blitzsymbol innerhalb eines gleichseitigen Drei- ecks soll den Anwender auf nicht isolierte Leitungen und Kontakte im Geräteinneren hinweisen, an denen hohe Spannungen anliegen, die im Fall einer Berührung zu lebensgefährlichen Stromschlägen führen können.     Am Ausgang DIRECT OUT (9) ist die Ausgangsspannung des internen Schaltnetzteils verfügbar, die Belastbarkeit beträgt maximal 4 A beim DPP 4004 und maximal 12 A beim DPP 4012. Der Ausgang ist intern gegen Kurzschluß geschützt und kann auch ohne Last betrieben werden. Der Ausgang kann dazu verwendet werden, ohne Batterieversorgung und ohne Fernschaltung mit reinem Netzteilbetrieb zu arbeiten.
  • Page 6 Der Ausgang MODULES OUT (14) ist zum Anschluß von Verbrauchern vorgesehen, welche im Falle eines Netzausfalles, während dessen die ELA-Anlage nur im Standby - Betrieb laufen soll, abgeschal- tet werden können (z. B. Relaisfelder, Alarmierungsgeräte, Sprachausgabegeräte ...). Die Abschaltung nicht benötigter Verbraucher während eines Netzausfalls ist sinnvoll, um die Batterie in dieser Zeit nicht unnötig zu belasten.

    4. Umschaltung der Netzspannung (Nur vom Fachmann durchzuführen) Die Netzteile DPP 4004/4012 können, nach entsprechender Umschaltung, auch an 115V Netz- spannung betrieben werden.     The output voltage of the internal power supply is present at the DIRECT OUT (9) connector. With the DPP 4004 this connector’s maximum power handling capacity is 4 A; the DPP 4012 provides 12 A.   • Page 16 The output MODULES OUT (14) is meant for the connection of devices (relay-fi elds, alarm-devices, voice reproduction, etc.) that can be switched off during a power outage – during which time the PA- system should operate in the stand-by mode. Switching off unnecessary devices during the occurrence of a power failure is preferable, otherwise the battery is unnecessarily strained.
