When the iron is used for the first time, some vapour may emit. After a short while however, this will cease. The vapour is due to the initial heating of the materials used in the iron. -

Operating Instructions continued Anti Drip System The Kambrook SpeedSteam Iron is equipped with an Anti-Drip System. The iron will automatically close the steam valve when the soleplate temperature is too low to produce steam. When this happens you will hear a click sound.
