Diagram to illustrate various installation layouts:- Attaching to fencing. If attaching to a fence use a cable clip or staples to attach the cable to the fence. Try to install the cable midway on the fence if possible (be careful not to pinch the outer jacket of your cable if you are using staples).
Use an angle grinder or disc cutter to cut a slot approx ½” deep and insert the cable into the slot. Make sure the cut is wide enough to comfortably house your wire. Seal the slot with a coloured or clear silicone or driveway sealant.
