The spare tire is mounted under the rear floor of the motor
home. An elevator mechanism allows you to lower the spare
tire to ground level. To remove the tire and wheel assembly:
1. Remove the bolt on one side and rotate the support located
under the spare tire.
2, Insert the crank handle into the crank receptacle located in
the right side storage compartment (the crank handle is
also located in this compartment).
3. Turn the crankJo the left to lower the tire. Continue turning
the crank handle until the chain is slack enough to disen-
gage the tire carrier plate.
4. Disengage the carrier plate.
5. Slide the tire out from under the motor home.
To store the tire assembly:
1. Engage the carrier plate securely through the wheel center
hole. Be sure the chain is centered in the wheel center
hole.
2. Turn the crank handle to the right to raise the tire up to the
motor home floor. Be sure the tire is snug against the floor.
3. Remove and store the crank handle.
4. Rotate and resecure the support.
