If the Suggested button is not greyed out, you can tap it to see a list of your contacts who already have NOOK ac-
counts and who can easily become your NOOK Friends. Tap the Invite button next to a contact's name to send that
contact a NOOK Friends invitation.
If you have not imported contacts from a Google account, a Set Up Account button appears in the dialog box that
opens after you have tapped the + button. Tap the Set Up Account button to open the Social settings screen for link-
ing your NOOK to your Google account.
Managing the Visibility of Your LendMe Books
By default, your NOOK Friends can see all your lendable books.
To control which of your lendable books are visible to your NOOK Friends, do this:
1.
On the Settings screen, tap Social.
2.
On the Social settings screen, tap the menu choice Manage visibility of my LendMe books.
Your NOOK displays a screen with controls for selecting which books are visible to friends.

Use the Show all my lendable books to my NOOK Friends tickbox to control whether or not any of your lendable
books are visible to your NOOK Friends. If you untick the tickbox, none of your books will be visible. To make
one or more books visible, leave the tickbox ticked.
4.
To control the visibility of individual books, use the Show tickboxes next to book titles.
Leave the Show tickbox ticked to show the book to your NOOK Friends.
Leave the Show tickbox unticked to hide the book from your NOOK Friends.
NOTE: Only NOOK Friends can see the books you make visible, and they can see the books only through
NOOK Friends software on a NOOK or other NOOK device. No other users can see your lendable
books.
Viewing the Activities of Your NOOK Friends
To see the recent activities of your NOOK Friends, open the book details for any book in your Library or in the
Shop, tap the Share button and in the Share dialog box, tap View Friends' Activities.
To see the book details page of a book in the Library or the Shop, double-tap on the book's cover.
To see the book details page of a book you are reading, tap in the centre of any page of the book to call up the Read-
ing Tools, then tap the more button.
