4.1
Troubleshooting
If problems arise (i.e. messages are not being received by the desired recipient), it is most
useful to perform some basic checks.
•
Check that the SIM card is still inserted correctly.
•
Check the antenna connection is secure and screwed on all the way.
•
Check the status of the Network Connection LED, if there is an active connection to the
network the LED should be flashing slowly (about every two seconds). If this LED is off or
on constantly, there is an issue with the SIM card or network coverage.
If there is a problem with network connectivity, a few things can be easily checked.
E nsure there is coverage from the appropriate network by:
1. Remove the SIM card and place into a handset that is known to work.
2. Power on and wait until coverage is shown. If there is a requirement to enter a
