Manual tuning can be used for

Item 2 explains how to tune BBC 1 and store it as PROG 01 (You can select any PROG number you want between 00 and 57)

Using the Arrow keys
Moving a stored channel will copy your choice into its new location erasing any channel already stored there. To avoid this happening, it is
recommended that you first move the channels to temporary locations beyond the range of the stored programmes before copying them back in
the order you want. It is not necessary to move any channel that is already where it should be. See the following diagram.
Note: When you move a channel the channel name is not moved, so programs should be named after they have been moved.

Note: To clear the old channel location, select the SETUP menu, (Green key), move the blue bar with the Arrow keys to the old
channel number, press and hold the Yellow key (SKIP) until the SKIP prompt disappears.
Manual Tuning
a) Tuning and storing local TV channels and other equipment connected in the
aerial system, such as VCR and satellite receiver.
b) Moving Auto-tuned channels, (see Move Stored Channels below).
c) To reduce unwanted interference.
The TUNING menu will appear on the screen
a) Press or to change the PROG number to 01
b) Press to move the cursor to MANUAL.
c) Press to start manual tuning. Each time a channel is
found the search will stop.
d) Press again until BBC 1 is found.
e) Press to move the cursor to STORE.
f) Press to store BBC 1 as PROG 01.
g) Press to return to PROG to select the next number.
Continue steps a to g until all your channels are tuned.
Press the TV key to return to normal viewing or, if you want to name
your TV channels, press the GREEN key (SETUP), and follow the
instructions in step 5 of Tuning Your Television.

a) Press or to change the programme number.
b) Press to move the blue bar to STORE.
c) Press or to store the new number. (See note below)
Press the TV key to return to normal viewing.
