beginning the installation. This device requires an existing broadband connection using a
cable modem, ADSL modem or similar broadband Internet device.

    Internet Connection Setup Wizard Connect the power adapter to the receptor at the back panel of the DIR-100 and plug the other end of the power adapter to a wall outlet, power strip or other suitable power source. The Power LED on the front panel will light green to indicate the device is on.

    Configure the Router To use your Web browser to access the web pages used to set up the Router, your computer must be configured to “Obtain an IP address automatically,” that is, you must change the IP network settings of your computer so that it is a DHCP Client. If you are using Windows XP and do not know how to change your network settings, read the User Manual for instructions on changing IP settings for computers running Windows operating systems.

Enter information as required and click Next to go to the Internet connection configuration page. Enter a Host Name and Domain Name for the Router, or accept the default names. Choose the Time Zone and configure and enable Daylight Saving dates where appropriate.
