NOTE: Pinchless seat hinges are
standard on all Golden Companion
scooters.
1. Remove the key.
2. Make sure that the scooter brake is
engaged.
3. Loosen the adjustment knobs. Slide the
arms off the scooter if you are not able to
carry the seat with the weight of the arm-
rests attached. See figure 6 on page 17.
4. Pull and hold the seat lock handle in the
outward position. Refer to the seat lock
instructions on page 28.
5. Remove the seat by grasping it on both
sides and lifting the seat straight up and
out of the seat post. See figure 14.
6. The seat can be folded for compact
storing.
If transporting your
scooter on an outside lift, remove
seat or make sure the seat lock
mechanism is locked. Failure to do
so could result in the seat coming
loose and becoming airborne. This
situation could cause problems for
the traffic behind you and possibly
result in an injury.
2. REMOVING THE REAR SHROUD
1. Pull up on the sides of the shroud.
2. Lift the shroud up and off the scooter. See
figure 15.
3.
