Chapter 1 Introduction

1.1 Introduction.

W311P / W311P+ is a wireless PCI network adapter with up
to150Mbps transmission rate. It utilizes the latest wireless
networking standard------ IEEE802.11n, and is compatible with
802.11b/g standards, which multiples the wireless signal coverage
and reduces "dead spots" in the wireless coverage area. W311P+
differs from the W311P in that it provides a detachable, omni-
directional antenna.
W311P /W311P ＋ is suitable for desktop computer. Its
transmitting rate can reach up to 150Mbps when connected to
Tenda 150M 11N Wireless Router.The high speed of wireless
networking makes it ideal for on-line applications like surfing,
streaming video, gaming, downloading and Voice over IP
telephone, and gives you much headroom to run movies and
photos in LAN.
In a word, W311P / W311P+ is a 150Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter
