3 Quick Start
VIGIL Server or Sanyo DVR Setup
Disconnect existing VCR and remove.
l
Reconnect cameras, audio and power to the Vigil or Sanyo DVR.
l
Connect the network cable and keyboard and mouse (if applicable) to the DVR.
l
Configure the network for the DVR. For VIGIL Servers, the network is setup during the Windows
l
installation. For Sanyo DVRs, the network is setup via the Sanyo DVR menu or dipswitches.

Workstation Setup:
Install MSDE.

Install VRM software.
l
Connect the digital voice recorder of your choice and install any software that comes with this

device.
Start VRM application.
l
Create a user with administrator privileges.
l
Configure the VRM settings.
l
Test System:
Record and download video.
l
Record and download audio.
l
Export video and audio.
l
Import video and audio.
l
