very c ommon 1 92.168.1.0/24. S pace w ithin t he 1 72.16.0.0/12 R FC1918 p rivate
address b lock s eems t o b e t he l east f requently u sed, s o c hoose s omething b etween
172.16.x.x a nd 1 72.31.x.x f or l east l ikelihood o f h aving V PN c onnectivity d ifficulties.

common), y ou w on't b e a ble t o c ommunicate a cross t he V PN – 1 92.168.1.x i s t he

Setting t he p assword
Enter t he a dmin p assword f or y our f irewall h ere, a nd a gain t o c onfirm. Y ou s hould
choose a s trong p assword, w ith a c ombination o f l etters, n umbers a nd s ymbols.
Should y ou f orget y our p assword, y ou c an r eset i t u sing a s erial c onsole o n y our F W-­‐
7541.
After e ntering y our p assword a nd c onfirming i t, c lick N ext.
