At   t his   p oint,   a ny   a nd   a ll   v alid   M IDI   d ata,   S YSEX   m essages,   e tc...   a re   b eing   r ecorded.   Y ou   w ill   h ear   t he   a udio   t rack  
associated  with  the  preset  playing  at  this  time  as  well.  As  soon  as  you  are  complete  with  your  MIDI  recording,  
press   the   [SELECT]   button.   If   you   choose   to   exit   without   saving,   simply   press   the   [UP]   key   to   abort   the  
recording.  
 
If   you   chose   to   save   the   recording,   then   the   Liquid   Tracks   will   now   save   the   file   in   the   following   naming  
convention:   [ B<Bank#>_<PRESET   # >.MID].   S imply   p ut,   i f   w e   w ere   i n   B ank   1 ,   a nd   r ecording   o n   p reset   # 012,   t hen  
the   file   name   will   be   "B1_012.MID".     If   a   file   exists   in   the   current   bank   with   that   name,   it   will   be   erased   and  
replaced   w ith   t he   c urrent   r ecording.   T he   L iquid   T racks   w ill   n ot   a sk   i f   y ou   w ant   t o   r eplace   t his   f ile.  
 
Selecting   a   M IDI   F ile  
If  you  selected  MIDI  FILE  (or  created  a  file  using  the  record  feature),  then  you  will  see  the  prompt  to  choose  the  MIDI  
file   to   associate   with   the   preset   being   edited.   If   you   recorded   a   new   MIDI   sequence,   the   recorded   selection   will   have  
been   c hosen   f or   y ou   a lready.   I f   t he   s ystem   c an   n ot   f ind   t he   f ile   a ssociated   w ith   t he   p reset,   i t   w ill   a ssume   t hat   i t   h as   b een  
deleted   o r   j ust   m issing   f rom   i ts   i ndex.   T his   w ill   h appen   w hen   y ou   a dd   r ecordings   w ithout   r escanning,   a nd   i t   w ill   h appen  
when   y ou   d elete   f iles   f rom   y our   b anks   w ithout   r escanning.   I f   t his   p roblem   i s   d etected,   y ou   w ill   s ee   t he   f ollowing:

then  the  system  will  skip  the  rescan  and  keep  the  current  settings.  Once  you  make  a  selection,  either  the  system  will  
begin   a   M IDI   o nly   R eScan,   o r   g o   d irectly   t o   t he   n ext   p arameter.
