3. Ignition Coil and Ignitor As-

1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

2) Disconnect the spark plug cords from ignition

coil and ignitor assembly.

• 1600 cc MODEL

• 2000 cc and 2500 cc MODEL

3) Disconnect the connector from ignition coil and

ignitor assembly.

IGNITION COIL AND IGNITOR ASSEMBLY

4) Remove the ignition coil and ignitor assembly.

• 1600 cc MODEL

• 2000 cc and 2500 cc MODEL

B: INSTALLATION

1) Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque:

6.4 N·m (0.65 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

Be sure to connect the wires to their proper po-

sitions. Failure to do so will damage the unit.
