in relation to position of bolt (7) which is spring-
loaded to CLOSE position.

1. Temporarily install handle (3) on shaft a s s e m -
bly (13) approximately vertical.
2. Move handle (3) back and forth until handle
c e n t e r s in spring-loaded position.
3. Without rotating shaft assembly (13), remove
handle and install placard (4) with CLOSE index a t
top and p r e s s placard to s e a t prongs.
4. Install nylon washer (1).
5. Install handle (3) to align with CLOSE index

Move handle (3) back and forth until handle
c e n t e r s in spring-loaded position.
3. Without rotating shaft assembly (13), remove
handle and install placard (4) with CLOSE index
aft
and p r e s s placard to s e a t prongs.
4. Install nylon w a s h e r s (1).
5. Install handle (3) to align with CLOSE index
on placard (4) and install clip (2).
6. Ensure bolt (7) c l e a r s doorpost and teeth
engage clutch g e a r when handle (3) is in CLOSE posi-
tion.
c. BEGINNING WITH 17263459 AND F17201144.

1. Temporarily install handle (24) on shaft
assembly (18) approximately vertical.
2.
Move handle (24) back and forth until handle
c e n t e r s in spring-loaded position.
3. Without rotating shaft assembly (18), remove
handle (24) and install placard (25) with CLOSE index
at
top.
4. Install handle (24) to align with CLOSE index
on placard (25), using s c r e w (26).
5. Install a r m r e s t (23) on upholstery panel (22).

b. Remove door-pull handle (14).
c. Disconnect door-stop chain (7).
d. Remove buttons securing upholstery panel and
