using Bluetooth

To use Bluetooth and modem-link to a
network:
Note: You must have a computer that has
Bluetooth capabilities for modem-link to work
via Bluetooth.
1 On your phone, make sure Bluetooth is
turned on (Press Start > Bluetooth > Bluetooth
Manager > Settings then toggle Status to
Bluetooth ON).
2 On the your computer, launch the
Bluetooth devices applet from the Control
Panel.
3 On the menu bar, select the Connections
menu, Dial-up Networking and then
Find devices.
4 The computer finds your phone and
displays the dial up networking window.
Now you can use your phone as a modem to
connect to a service provider or network.
using a cable
To use a USB cable to your phone and
connect with modem-link to a network:
1 Go to the Motorola Q Support Website
(http://www.motorola.com/support/Q) and
download the phone driver file
(smartphone1.inf). Save it on you
computer desktop.
2 Enable modem-link on your phone. Press
Start > Settings > Phone Settings > Modem-link
> Enabled.
Note: If a desired menu item does not
appear on your screen, use the navigation
key, thumb wheel, or press the More Left Soft
Key.
